James Liu

James Liu is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the satellite communications industry. Currently serving as the Director of Hardware Engineering at Intellian Technologies, James leads a research and development team focused on electronically scanning antenna technologies for SatCom terminals. Previously, as the Director of Advanced Technology Programs, James managed multiple LEO satellite gateway programs. Prior experience includes roles as an RF/Antenna Specialist at Telesat, where innovative solutions for LEO user terminals were developed, and as a Principal RF Antenna Engineer at OneWeb, where James defined user terminal RF and antenna requirements. At Maxtena, Inc., James contributed to advanced antenna solutions across various satellite and terrestrial applications. James holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Engineering in Applied Mechanics from National Taiwan University.
