Barb Skerlj

Barb Skerlj has a strong background in the field of systems analysis and report development. Barb began their career in 1989 with EDS Canada, working on various projects for General Motors. During their time at EDS, they gained experience in parts distribution, warehousing systems, and marketing. In 2007, they joined Toyota Canada Inc. as a Senior Systems Analyst and Financial Report Developer, where they created and maintained corporate financial statements and improved overall processing times for reports. From 2009 to 2015, Barb worked at Shoppers Drug Mart, initially as a Senior Systems Analyst and Financial Report Developer, and later as a Senior Business Systems Analyst. Barb was responsible for eliciting and documenting business requirements, conducting user acceptance testing, and translating business requirements into system requirements. Since 2015, Barb has been employed by Univar Solutions as a Senior Functional Analyst, managing and supporting various systems, conducting user acceptance testing, and providing solutions to improve processes. Most recently, they joined Intellifi Corporation as a Senior Report Developer in 2022.

Barb Skerlj pursued their education from 1986 to 1989 at Durham College, where they obtained a College Diploma in Business Administration and Information Technology. Later, in 2010 to 2011, they attended the University of Toronto to pursue further studies in Certified Business Analyst, although the degree name was not mentioned.
