Jose A. Faura

Jose A. Faura has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. From 1995 to 2000, they worked as an Electrical Engineer at Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division. Following this, they joined the Department of Defense as a Computer and Network Exploit Analyst from 2000 to 2003. Jose A. then transitioned to SYSTEM ARCHITECTS GROUP, LLC, where they served as the Principle Security Architect from 2003 to 2018. In 2007, they briefly worked at General Dynamics as a Forensics Lead Specialist. More recently, in 2017, they took on the role of Chief Technology Officer at both IntelliGenesis LLC and Traversed.

Jose A. Faura began their education by obtaining an associate's degree in Electronics from the University of Puerto Rico-Bayamon. Jose A. then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from the University at Buffalo, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. Continuing their education further, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering at Virginia Tech, graduating in 2001. Jose's focus of study throughout their educational journey was in the field of Electrical Engineering.
