Alex Ikonn

Alex Ikonn started their work experience in 2005 as an Account Manager at CIBC. In 2009, they worked as a Digital Marketing Consultant at Ikonn Media, where they failed to convince businesses about the potential of social media. This failure led him to co-found Luxy Hair in 2010, which became a global business with millions of customers. In 2013, they co-founded Dreamers & Creators, a creative agency specializing in marketing strategy, branding, filmmaking, and design. The same year, they also co-founded Intelligent Change, a company that creates products to enhance happiness and productivity. In 2018, Alex became an investor in CURLSMITH, a successful haircare line that was later acquired for $150M. In 2019, they invested in WeCommerce. Recently, in 2020, Alex became a partner in Creative Restaurant Holdings, which includes acclaimed restaurants Endo at Rotunda and SUMI.

Alex Ikonn attended York University from 2005 to 2010, where they received a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a focus on Marketing.
