David Woolhouse

David Woolhouse has had a long and successful career in the engineering and manufacturing industries. David began their career as an Engineering Manager with Arjo Wiggins, a paper-making and coating company. David then moved to Corus / Catnic, where they were Operations Director for the manufacture of steel building products. In 2003, they became Managing Director of Brush Transformers Ltd, where they oversaw the manufacture of power, distribution and mining transformers in the UK, UAE and China. In 2010, they joined Alstom Grid as Unit Managing Director, responsible for the design and manufacture of HVDC extra high voltage transformers. In 2013, they became Managing Director of Wabtec Rail Ltd, where they were responsible for the maintenance and overhaul of rail rolling stock. David is currently CEO of Intelligent Energy.

David Woolhouse has an electrical engineering degree from the University of Cambridge and an MBA from Warwick Business School.
