David Bass has over 30 years of experience in the technology industry. David began their career in 1989 working in various roles at Apple, Macromedia, Reciprocal, FitnessAge, Thomson-Reuters, and Dynamic Health Concepts. In 2004, they joined ebrary as the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, where they were responsible for leading the long range planning and strategy implementation for all programs in the US, EU, China, and Asia Pacific. In 2006, they moved to Houghton Mifflin Harcourt as the Vice President and General Manager of The Learning Company/Broderbund Software, where they had global P&L responsibility and rapidly grew direct-to-consumer, distribution, retail, and K-12 school channels. In 2009, they joined Rand McNally as the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, where they restructured the marketing department and capabilities across the company. In 2010, they were the Chief Marketing Officer at Radical Studios, where they developed the company's shift to B2C digital products and launched the company's first iOS mobile game and digital comics. In 2012, they became the Principal Operating Partner at DHB Consulting, where they worked with boards and investors at venture backed start-ups and private equity backed companies. Finally, in 2018, they joined Intellihealth Inc. as the Chief Operating Officer, where they were responsible for the day to day operations of the company.
David Bass obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Management from Rutgers University.
