Athanasia Panousopoulou

Athanasia Panousopoulou has a wealth of experience in the technology industry. Athanasia began their career in 2004 as a Research Assistant for the RUNES Programme and the MIRACLE Programme at the University of Patras. In 2008, they took on the role of R & D Engineer at DYNESYS S.A. After that, they moved to the University of Ulster in 2010, where they worked as a Research Associate for the Smart Environments Research Group. In 2012, they were a Research Associate at the Hamlyn Centre for Robotic Surgery at Imperial College London. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Research Scientist at the Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas (FORTH). Athanasia also served as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Crete's Department of Computer Science during this time. In 2018, they were an Expert Evaluator for H2020 MSCA-ITN-2018 at the Research Executive Agency, European Commission. Finally, from 2018 to 2019, they served as a Senior Back End Engineer and Big Data Engineer at IntelliSense.io.

Athanasia Panousopoulou completed their PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Patras in 2009. Prior to that, they earned their Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the same university in 2004.
