John Ragan

John Ragan is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership and product development across various companies. Currently serving as Vice President Of Engineering at Hobsons since January 2015, John manages budgeting and oversees the rollout of new products using best engineering practices. Previous roles include Director of Engineering at CalAmp, where John directed a mobile fleet location-based SaaS product, and Senior Manager at Informatica, managing engineers in the development of a web-based Complex Event Processing product. With earlier experience as Engineering Director at SecureWave and webMethods, alongside roles at AgentLogic and Booz-Allen & Hamilton, John's expertise spans multiple domains, including software architecture, security integration, and enterprise solutions. John holds an MBA and a B.S. in Computer Science from BYU.
