Mohammad Refaat

Mohammad Refaat has a diverse range of work experience. Mohammad is currently employed as the Head of Engineering at intelmatix since June 2023. Previously, they worked at Google for over 10 years, starting in November 2012 as an Engineer. During their time at Google, they contributed to various teams including Chrome, Google Web Server, and Google Search Promotions System. At Google, they led efforts in privacy and GDPR requirements implementation, as well as making improvements in navigation and web layers. Prior to Google, Mohammad worked as a Software Engineer at Facebook and as a Teaching Assistant at the American University in Cairo. Mohammad also worked as a C++ Developer at DefendX Software and an iOS Developer at Tawasol. In addition, they were the President of the ACM CU student Chapter, where they made significant changes to the chapter structure and organized several national ACM contests. Mohammad has also worked as a Freelance Software Engineer and as an IBM business partner at Qinnova.

Mohammad Refaat obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Cairo University, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Later, they pursued their Master's Degree in Computer Science, specializing in the Faculty of Computers and Information, from Cairo University, completing it in 2011.
