Sergio Ibañez Domingo

Sergio Ibañez Domingo has extensive work experience in the field of technology and telecommunications. Sergio currently works as a DevOps Engineer at intelygenz, where they develop pipelines, manages infrastructure as code, and handles public cloud administration. Prior to this, Sergio worked at Equinix, starting in 2018. During their time there, they held multiple roles, including Open Data Systems and Cloud Engineer and ITS Unix, Middleware, Windows specialist. Before joining Equinix, Sergio worked at Elecoantena Telecomunicaciones, S.L. from 2003 to 2018 as a Technician, specializing in the installation and repair of digital telecommunication systems. Prior to that, they worked at NoGravity S.L. as a Server Hardware Technician. Additionally, Sergio has experience in system administration and organizing online competitions, having worked on events such as Campus Party, ESWC, and WGC.

Sergio Ibañez Domingo began their education in 2001 at Colegio JOYFE, where they pursued a degree in Desarrollo aplicaciones informáticas y administración sistemas informáticos. Sergio completed this program in 2003. Following that, from 2003 to 2004, Sergio attended Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D., where they pursued a Grado en Ingeniería with a specialization in Técnica de sistemas informáticos.

In addition to their formal education, Sergio has obtained several certifications. In 2019, they became a Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect, certified by Google. Sergio also obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification from Amazon Web Services in the same year. Most recently, in 2022, Sergio obtained the HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate (002) certification from HashiCorp.
