Angela Jones CCS, CPC, CPB, CBCS, is an experienced medical coder and educator with a strong background in coding ambulance and radiology services at Insight Billing since November 2017 and coding charts for LTACH patients at Intensive Specialty Hospital since October 2016. Angela has served as an adjunct instructor at both Vista College and Virginia College, passionately teaching adult students about medical billing and coding. Other roles include contract coding at Harmony Healthcare, Altegra Health, and Optum Global Solutions, as well as program director for medical coding and billing at Virginia College from September 2013 to August 2015. Angela holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Medical Insurance Coding Specialist/Coder from Bossier Parish Community College and has prior experience as a receptionist and mentor at Weight Watchers.
