Lin-Syuan Yang

Lin-Syuan Yang is an Air Quality Scientist at INTERA Incorporated, specializing in air permitting services, environmental data management, and greenhouse gas footprint analysis. Previously, as a Graduate Student Researcher at UCLA Fielding School of Public Health, Lin-Syuan investigated the relationship between air pollution and COVID-19 in LA County, employing statistical modeling in R. Experience also includes research assistance at the Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica, where deep learning techniques were applied to assess solar panel distribution, and work at National Taiwan University developing an R package for monitoring indoor air quality. An early internship at the Industrial Technology Research Institute involved analyzing air quality data to uncover pollution patterns in Taiwan. Lin-Syuan holds a Master of Science in Environmental Health Sciences from UCLA and a Bachelor's degree in Public Health from National Taiwan University.
