Sandra Fortura Chrl

Sandra Fortura CHRL has a diverse range of work experience in the field of human resources. Sandra is currently working as the Human Resources Director at Interac Corp. Prior to this, they held the position of Director, Human Resources at WSP in Canada from 2017 to 2021, where they were a member of the Canadian People & Culture senior leadership team. Sandra also worked as a Leader, Human Resources at D+H from 2015 to 2017 and as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner from 2013 to 2015. Before that, they served as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner at PRACS Institute from 2011 to 2013. Sandra also has experience as a Senior Human Resources Generalist at Netsuite from 2009 to 2010, a Human Resources Generalist at Gamma-Dynacare Medical Laboratories from 2007 to 2008, a Human Resources Representative at Carlson Wagonlit Travel from 2005 to 2007, and a Human Resources Training Coordinator at Apotex Inc. from 2002 to 2005. Additionally, they worked as an English Second Language Instructor at GEOS from 2000 to 2001. Throughout their career, Sandra has demonstrated expertise in various aspects of human resources, including strategic business partnering, talent management, employee engagement, and program development.

Sandra Fortura CHRL received an Hon. B.A. in Employee Relations & Sociology from the University of Toronto in 2000. Sandra later obtained a Post Graduate degree in Human Resources Management from Seneca Polytechnic in 2002. Sandra has also obtained several certifications including the Certified Human Resources Leader from HRPA - Human Resources Professionals Association in 2014. Sandra holds additional certifications in Indigenous Canada from the University of Alberta, Situational Leadership from The Ken Blanchard Companies, Alternative Dispute Resolution Certificate from Stitt Feld Handy Group, and Certified Human Resources Professional from HRPA - Human Resources Professionals Association.
