Emily Herrera is an accomplished professional in early-stage investing and technology. Currently serving as a co-director at the Center for Creator Policy and Research and engaged in early-stage investing at Slow Ventures and Night Ventures, Emily has a diverse background that includes founding The Wiress, a women's student-startup network. Previous roles include being an investor at Harlem Capital and a venture partner at Contrary, along with a brief fellowship at Republic and an R&D position at NBC News. Emily holds a degree in Computer Science and Journalism from Northeastern University, complemented by a S.I.P in Computer Science from Girls Who Code.
