Henry Williams is a Research Associate in the Monetary and Economic Department at the Bank for International Settlements since October 2023, having been selected for the prestigious 2023-2024 graduate fellowship. As a Fellow at Interact since May 2022, Henry is part of a program for young technologists focused on social impact. Previous experience includes serving as a Research Assistant to Professor Adam Tooze at Columbia University, where research and outreach were managed, and co-founding The Gravel Institute, a digital think tank that merges policy research and social media engagement. Henry also worked as Chief Strategist for Mike Gravel's 2020 campaign, spearheading a successful social media strategy that mobilized significant grassroots support. Early career roles include data science and software engineering positions at the Data Science Institute at Columbia University and AppNexus, respectively, complemented by research at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Henry holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Columbia University, completing studies in 2023.
