Neil Maloney

Neil Maloney has over 24 years of experience in the technology industry. Neil currently serves as the Global Director of Infrastructure Platform Engineering at Interactive Brokers, a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to this, Neil worked at CME Group for 18 years, starting in July 2004. During their time at CME Group, they held the role of Director of System Engineering and was responsible for supporting and innovating technology solutions for various internal divisions. Neil also served as the Director of Corporate Systems and Senior Storage Engineer at NYMEX from July 2004 to August 2008, where they played a key role in establishing policies and procedures for backups, archives, and data storage. Neil began their career as a System Engineer at Sempra Energy Trading in 1998. Neil's expertise lies in MS Windows, VMware, networking, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). Neil is known for being a hands-on manager who values open communication and continuous learning.

Neil Maloney earned a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from Iona University in 1993. Neil continued their education at Binghamton University, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business from 1995 to 1997.
