Fred Thiele

Fred Thiele serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at Interactive since January 2022, overseeing internal cybersecurity and technology functions. Thiele is also a member of the NSW Branch Executive Committee for the Australian Information Security Association since September 2022 and has provided industry advisory support for CyRise, a cyber security startup accelerator, until April 2023. Previous positions include Group Chief Information Security Officer at Transport for NSW, Chief Information Security Officer at Velocity Frequent Flyer, and Head of Cyber Defence at Commonwealth Bank, among others. Thiele co-founded Laconic Security and has significant experience in the cybersecurity sector, demonstrating a commitment to enhancing security measures and operations across various organizations. Thiele holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Fort Lewis College.
