Myriam van Rooij

Myriam van Rooij is an experienced project director at KNMI - Koninklijk Nederlands Meteorologisch Instituut since February 2014, where there is managerial responsibility for the Masterplan De Bilt. Currently, Myriam serves as CFO and CIO at Groen Ontwikkelfonds Brabant, and holds positions as chair of the supervisory board at Amnesty International The Netherlands and as a member of the supervisory boards at Veilig Thuis Oost-Brabant and Jeugdbescherming Brabant. Myriam’s expertise extends to roles in multiple organizations, including membership in the executive board of IT-Circle Nederland and involvement in Provincie Utrecht’s advisory committee on the environment. Myriam's educational background includes an MSc in chemistry from Universiteit Utrecht and further studies at Business School Netherland, alongside additional coaching qualifications.
