Luciano Adorini

Luciano Adorini is an accomplished professional in the pharmaceutical industry with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) at Intercept Pharmaceuticals since January 2008, Luciano previously held the same position at BioXell from January 2002 to December 2007. Earlier in the career, Luciano worked as Associate Director at Roche Milano Ricerche from 1993 to 2002 and led a laboratory at Sandoz from 1986 to 1992. Luciano Adorini holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Università degli Studi di Padova, attained between 1968 and 1974, and completed secondary education at Liceo Classico Jacopo Stellini Udine from 1963 to 1968.
