Colin K.

Colin K. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Colin started their career at IBM in 2007 as a Software Test Automation Engineer and later transitioned into a Junior Software Developer role. During their time at IBM, they made significant contributions to the Learning Management System (LMS), including rewriting the Test Automation platform and improving automation test run time. In 2011, Colin joined MapQuest as a Tech Lead and Senior Software Engineer, where they led a team of engineers and QA professionals. After working at MapQuest for two years, they joined AOL Platforms in 2013 as a Senior Software Engineer. At AOL, Colin worked on the Audience Targeting Platform and played a key role in integrating the platform into Aol's Data Management Platform (DMP). Colin also served as the lead engineer for the ETL project in the newly formed Central Targeting Services (CTS) team. In 2017, Colin joined Intercom as a Product Engineer and gradually progressed to the roles of Senior Product Engineer and, currently, Staff Product Engineer.

Colin K. attended Trinity College Dublin from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a B.A. B.A.I. degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Colin also obtained several certifications. In December 2009, they became a Sun Certified Programmer for the Java 6 Platform after completing the certification program offered by Sun Microsystems. In March 2014, Colin obtained the M101JS: MongoDB for Node.js Developers certification from MongoDB. Moreover, in August 2016, they achieved a distinction in Occupational First Aider - QQI Level 5 from Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI).
