Thomas Hourlier

Thomas Hourlier has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Thomas is currently employed at Intercom as a Staff Product Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at Intercom as a Senior Product Engineer and a Product Engineer.

Before joining Intercom, Thomas worked at FoodMeUp as a Lead Software Engineer. Thomas played a key role in designing and building the front-end of a user-friendly React web app for an innovative ERP system.

Thomas also held the position of Lead Software Engineer at Codexia, where they developed a microservices-oriented organization analysis web app. Thomas successfully reduced the size and processing time of the app compared to the previous legacy solution. Thomas introduced graph visualization and implemented technologies such as React, D3, and Redux.

In addition, Thomas worked as a Software Engineer at WID and Numeritek as a contractor. At WID, they designed and delivered a Web App using Polymer to showcase the company's technical expertise. At Numeritek, they proposed and delivered an Angular.js web app for doctors to input patient data, emphasizing mobility and simplicity.

Thomas also worked at MGI Digital Graphic Technology as a Software Engineer and completed an internship as a Software Developer at Polyclinique de Courlancy.

Throughout their career, Thomas has gained proficiency in various technologies such as React, D3, Redux, Angular, TypeScript, and Polymer.

Thomas Hourlier obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science from Classes préparatoires (Reims) in 2011. Thomas then went on to complete their Master's degree in Computer Science at Grenoble INP - UGA from 2011 to 2015.
