John Chitwood

John Chitwood is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in damage prevention and utility management. Currently serving as the Damage Prevention Manager at InterCon Construction since April 2015, John Chitwood oversees the development and implementation of damage prevention programs, including the Dig Safe System. Prior to this role, John Chitwood spent over a decade at Vannguard Utility Partners, progressing from Field Supervisor to Assistant District Manager, and ultimately to District Manager, where responsibilities included customer service, team training, and active participation in the Wisconsin Damage Prevention Council. Additionally, John Chitwood began an electrical career as an Electrician at Hill Electric, Inc. John Chitwood holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
