Sergio Durand, MBA has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. Sergio currently holds the position of Vice President International Commercial Lender at Intercredit Bank N.A., where they successfully procured a $45 million Private International Trade Credit Insurance for the bank and grew the Trade Finance portfolio by $55 million. Prior to their current role, Sergio worked as a Commercial & Institutional Business Development Officer at BICSA Panama, focusing on international and domestic business development activities. Sergio also gained experience at Bank of America as a Preferred Relationship Banker and at Nazca Finance Corp as a Trade Finance/International Business Development specialist, where they increased the customer base and portfolio significantly. Sergio started their career at BBVA en Perú as a Corporate & Institutional Banker. Throughout their career, Sergio has demonstrated a strong ability to develop new business, close loans, and provide comprehensive financial solutions to clients.

Sergio Durand, MBA, holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Florida International University, earned from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed a degree in International Banking at the South Florida Center for Financial Training - ABA from 2007 to 2009. Sergio also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management with a focus on Finance from Universidad de Lima / University of Lima. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained a Notary Public Commission from the State of Florida in May 2020 and completed a certification in Marketing Accounting Metrics and Financial Analysis in 2012.
