Katie James

Katie James has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles in product management. Katie started their career at The University of Southern Mississippi as an Assistant Professor, where they worked from August 2015 to July 2019. In 2019, they transitioned to the tech industry and joined Interfolio as an Associate Product Manager. Katie was promoted to Product Manager in March 2020 and served in this role until January 2022. From July 2021 to April 2023, they held the position of Senior Product Manager at Interfolio. Currently, they are working as an Associate Director of Product Management at Interfolio, starting in March 2023.

Katie James has an extensive education history in sociology. Katie obtained their Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Political Science, and Spanish from The University of Southern Mississippi in 2007. Katie then pursued further education at the University of Georgia - Franklin College of Arts and Sciences, where they completed their Master of Arts (MA) degree in Sociology in 2009. Following that, they continued their academic journey and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Sociology from the same institution in 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Katie James also holds two certifications. Katie obtained the Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in April 2022, and they also obtained the Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager certification from the same institution in March 2022.
