Carl Dobler

Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Western Commodity, Specialty, Export & Logistics at Interfor Corp

Carl Dobler has a strong background in sales and marketing, particularly in the lumber and building materials industry. Carl most recently served as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Interfor, where they were responsible for Western and Export markets. Prior to that, they held the role of General Manager of Export Sales and Marketing at Interfor.

Before joining Interfor, Dobler worked at Taiga Building Products as an Export Manager, overseeing all export sales for the company and managing the full profit and loss accountability. Additionally, they were part of the Global Lumber Supply Group at Taiga.

Earlier in their career, Dobler worked at West Fraser as a Sales and Supply Chain Manager, focusing on engineered wood. Carl also served as the North American Supply Chain Manager at International Paper.

Dobler started their career at Weldwood of Canada Ltd., where they held roles as a Sales Production & Logistics Coordinator and a Lumber Trader.

Throughout their career, Dobler has gained extensive experience in export sales, supply chain management, and business development in the lumber industry.

Carl Dobler completed their education with a Certificate in Global Strategic Management from Harvard Business School in 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Economics and Marketing from Simon Fraser University between 1990 and 1994.
