Michelle Smith

Michelle Smith has extensive work experience in research and healthcare. Michelle worked at the Interior Health Authority from 2017 to the present, where they held various roles including Practice Lead-Research, Clinical Research Coordinator. Michelle also worked as an Adjunct Professional Fellow at CQUniversity and an Adjunct Professor at The University of British Columbia. In addition, they served as a Regional Research Coordinator at the University of Alberta and as a Senior Research Assistant at Griffith University and Southern Cross University. Michelle also held research positions at The University of British Columbia and BC Cancer Agency. Michelle's expertise lies in research coordination, knowledge mobilization, and healthcare quality improvement.

Michelle Smith has a Master of Science (MSc) in Public Health Sciences, Health Promotion, and Psychology from the University of Alberta. Michelle also has a Cert III in Visual Arts from TAFE NSW. In addition, they hold an Associate of Arts (AA) in Psychology and Anthropology from Thompson Rivers University and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Psychology and Anthropology from the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC).
