Jay Kennedy is a PGA Professional and the Director of Golf. He grew up on the coast of North Carolina in Morehead City and graduated from Guliford College. During his time there, he was a two-time All-American in golf and was inducted into the Guliford College Athletic Hall of Fame in 1994. Before he came to Interlachen in 1987, he worked for Harvie Ward at Grand Cypress Resort for five years.
