James Ilaki

James Ilaki has a diverse work experience, starting from a Teaching Placement at Keele University Widening Participation in 2008. James then worked as a Web Design Counsellor at TIC Summer Camp in 2009 before becoming a Web Developer at ACW in 2012, where they built web and mobile applications for multinational organizations. In 2018, they joined Ladbrokes Coral as a Senior Software Engineer, working on software for the Self-Service Betting Terminals. James then transitioned to MediaAlpha in 2019 as a Software Engineer. Currently, James is working as the Chief Technology Officer at InterLnkd starting from June 2023. James'sroles have involved technologies such as PHP, Laravel, WordPress, JavaScript, Vue.js, React, Node.js, Ionic, AngularJS, SCSS, React, Node JS, Agile, and TDD.

James Ilaki began their education at Starehe Boys' Centre, where they completed their high school education and obtained a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education in 2005. James then enrolled at Starehe Boys' Centre for further studies and earned a Certified Public Account degree in 2007, specifically in CPA Part 1.

In 2007, James Ilaki pursued higher education at Keele University, where they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science & Mathematics in 2010. James continued their studies at Keele University and obtained a Master of Science degree in Internet & Web Technologies in 2011.

In addition to their formal education, James Ilaki has also obtained various certifications. James completed the Certified Public Accounting (Sections 1 & 2) certification from the Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations Board in August 2007. James has also obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including certifications in JavaScript: Classes, Learning Node.js, Learning TypeScript, Node.js Essential Training, Node.js Essential Training: Web Servers, Tests, and Deployment, React: State Management, TypeScript for Node.js Developers, React: Creating and Hosting a Full-Stack Site, Perl 5 Essential Training, and PHP 7 New Features. These certifications were obtained between 2019 and 2020.
