Emily Trapani

Emily Trapani is a dedicated music educator currently serving as an Instructor and Ensemble Manager at the Interlochen Center for the Arts and as the Wind Ensemble Director for the Harmony Project in Kansas City. Emily is a graduate student in the wind conducting studio at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where pursuit of a Master of Arts in Conducting & Musicology is underway. Previous positions include Associate Director of Bands for MSD of Lawrence Township, where significant responsibilities included directing multiple ensembles and musical productions. Earlier experience encompasses roles as Performing Arts Director in Oregon and Marching Band Instructor in North Carolina. Emily has received accolades as a conductor, with ensembles achieving high honors in state competitions and conferences.
