Julien Mendoza has a diverse work experience in the field of data governance and digital communication. Julien has held positions such as Head of Data Governance at Intermarché, Senior Manager Stratégie Data/Data Management/Data Governance at KPMG France, and Manager Data Management at Deloitte. Julien has also worked as a consultant specialized in digital strategy, data, and data governance at Devoteam Management Consulting, as well as a freelance contributor focused on the digital economy and media at Mindnews. In addition, Julien has taught courses on digital economics and sociology of the internet at various institutions including EIT Digital Master School and ESCEN. Julien has also been a professor of digital economics at Web School Factory.
Julien Mendoza holds a Master 2 (M2) degree in Industrial Economics and Strategic Business from Université Paris Dauphine - PSL, obtained until 2007. Julien also completed a Ph.D. in Economics at Paris-Sud University (Paris XI), beginning in 2008. Prior to that, they pursued a Master 2 (M2) degree in Organizational Sociology at Université Paris Dauphine - PSL from 2004 to 2006, and a Master 1 degree in Banking, Finance, and Insurance from the same institution from 2000 to 2004. Furthermore, Julien has obtained various certifications, including CDMP Associate from Dama International in 2024, Informatica Data Governance - Champions from Informatica in 2020, and UX-PM1 from UXalliance in 2017.
