Katrina Brinker

Katrina Brinker currently serves as the Executive Director at the International Academy of Smyrna since August 2022. Previously, Katrina held leadership roles at the Atlanta Area School, including Head of School and Assistant Principal from August 2017 to September 2022. At Atlanta Public Schools, Katrina worked from September 2013 to August 2017 as a Professional Learning Specialist for Teacher Quality, focusing on intensive instructional support and school improvement. Earlier experience includes serving as Assistant Principal at both a Local School System K-12 and MSD of Warren Township, highlighting expertise in managing school operations, implementing curricula, and enhancing student achievement. Katrina's educational background includes an Ed.S. from Indiana State University and an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from the same institution, complemented by a brief program at Harvard University and degrees in Dental Hygiene and General Studies from Indiana University.
