Neil Singla

Chairman, Clinical Trials Special Interest Group at International Association for the Study of Pain

Neil Singla, MD, currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Latigo Biotherapeutics, Inc., since August 2024. With extensive experience in clinical research, Singla has been the Chairman of the Clinical Trials Special Interest Group for the International Association for the Study of Pain since March 2013. Previously, Singla held the position of Chief Scientific Officer at Lotus Clinical Research, LLC, from March 2001 to March 2024, where oversight of pain clinical trials was key, alongside fostering client relationships and expanding the organization. Singla also founded and led Lotus Clinical Research from 2001 to 2021, growing it into a significant organization within the specialty clinical research field. Additionally, Singla served as Chairman of the Clinical Trials Shared Interest Group for the American Pain Society from May 2012 to November 2019. Singla holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University and a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Akron.
