Maritza F. is an active member of several professional organizations, including the International Association of Crime Analysts and the Southern California Crime and Intelligence Analysts Association, both since January 2024. Maritza also serves as a Comision Femenil Member for the Comisión Femenil of the San Fernando Valley, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for the Latina community. In addition, Maritza is a Board Member at LA Mission Federal Credit Union and a Contributing Member of the Society for Science. Previously, Maritza held a role as a Management Analyst with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health and has experience as a Spanish Teacher at Hawthorne High School. Maritza's education includes a Master's degree in Criminology from Arizona State University and a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California.
