Marisa Novello

Marisa Novello has a diverse work experience in various industries. Marisa began their career in 2008 as a Contributor for The New Hampshire. Marisa then worked as an Intern Reporter for Exeter News-Letter at Seacoast Media Group in 2011. The same year, they also interned as an Editorial Assistant for New York Moves magazine and worked as an Articles and Lifestyle Editorial Intern for Hearst Magazines. From 2009 to 2011, Marisa worked as a Front Desk Receptionist at Wingate Salon and Spa. In 2011, they returned to Seacoast Media Group as a Freelance Reporter.

In 2012, Marisa joined Kaplow as a Production Coordinator before transitioning to Penguin Random House as a Sales Assistant later that year. Over the course of their tenure at Penguin Random House, Marisa held several roles, including Editorial Coordinator, Assistant Editor, and Associate Editor. Marisa left the company in 2017 to work as an Account Manager and Copywriter for DARCI Creative. In 2019, Marisa joined the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals as a Global Marketing Content & Copywriting professional.

Marisa Novello received their MFA in Creative Nonfiction Writing from Goucher College, completing their studies from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a BA in English from the University of New Hampshire, where they studied from 2005 to 2009.
