Ryan Khavari has a diverse work experience spanning various industries.
Ryan started their career at Benefit Cosmetics, where they held multiple roles as a HelpDesk Systems Admin, Retail Applications Specialist, and Business Systems Analyst from 2004 to 2009.
In 2007, they co-founded 8mm Ideas and served as a Co-Owner until 2014.
From 2011 to 2012, they were the Owner and Creator of Dog Park Barks.
In 2014, they joined POPSUGAR as an IT Operations Manager, responsible for all aspects of IT infrastructure and support. Their role involved managing Adobe Cloud, Cisco Meraki, asset management administration, shared storage administration, backup and recovery, networking, WiFi, switches, server administration, Mac specialist, Apple Remote Desktop, JAMF, hardware, software, and desktop support. Ryan stayed with POPSUGAR until 2018.
In 2018, they joined Meta as an Enterprise Operations Support Technician until 2022.
Ryan is currently employed as an Enterprise Applications Administrator at the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals, starting in 2022.
Additionally, in 2012, they co-founded Mission Cycling Travel, which focuses on creating international travel experiences for road cyclists, including destinations such as the French Alps, Tuscany, and Sicily.
Ryan Khavari received a CORe Credential of Readiness in Business from Harvard Business School Online in the year 2021. Prior to that, between 1991 and 1995, they attended Boston University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in the School of Communication, with a focus on film.
