Stephanie Katz

Stephanie Katz has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Stephanie is currently working as a Business Process Analyst at IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals since December 2022. Previously, from July 2021 to December 2022, they worked as a Remote Project Officer at Morgan Campbell Health Consultants.

Before that, Stephanie served as a Business Analyst at Primary Health Tasmania from January 2020 to April 2021. Prior to that, they held several positions at the Department of State Growth (Tas) from 2017 to 2020, including Senior Business Analyst, Project Officer, Senior Contracts Administration Officer / Team Leader, and Contract Administration Officer.

Stephanie also gained valuable experience in the non-profit sector. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Program Development Manager at The Windeward Bound Trust, where they provided various services such as program development, event management, fund development, recruitment, and executive support.

Stephanie also worked at Hudson River Sloop Clearwater as a Maintenance Program Supervisor from August 2012 to November 2012 and at STV Windeward Bound as a Team Leader from January 2012 to June 2012, where they provided training and supervision to youth and adult passengers.

In addition, Stephanie has experience in ship-based organizations. Stephanie worked at the American Tall Ship Institute as the First Mate & Volunteer Program Manager from September 2010 to July 2011, where they supervised ship-board operations and mentored youth passengers. Prior to that, they served as a Project Manager/Office Manager at Regional Environmental Council, overseeing a one-day cleanup event and managing fundraising efforts.

Stephanie's work experience began as a Deckhand at Liberty Fleet of Tall Ships from July 2009 to October 2009. Throughout their career, Stephanie has demonstrated their ability to adapt to different roles and industries, showing a strong focus on project management, analysis, and team leadership.

In 2020, Stephanie attended the Institute of Project Management and obtained a BSB51415 Diploma of Project Management (Dip PM) in the field of Project Management.

From 2019 to 2020, Stephanie also attended the Institute of Project Management where they completed the BSB41515 Certificate IV in Project Management Practice (Cert IV) with a focus on Project Management.

Between 2005 and 2007, Stephanie studied at Worcester State University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.

From 2002 to 2004, Stephanie attended Keene State College and studied Biology, General.

Additionally, Stephanie has obtained various certifications. In October 2020, they completed the course "Using Questions to Foster Critical Thinking and Curiosity" from LinkedIn. Stephanie also holds certification as a Certified Project Officer (CPO) and a Certified Project Professional (CPP), both obtained from the Institute of Project Management in May 2020. In April 2020, Stephanie completed the "Tips for Working Remotely" course from LinkedIn. In July 2012, they obtained the Marine Radio Operator's Certificate of Proficiency from the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) and the Coxswain's License (Unlimited) from the Marine and Safety Tasmania. Stephanie also holds STCW '95 certification from the US Coast Guard, obtained in December 2011. Lastly, they have completed the Workplace Level 2 First Aid course from Seafood Training Tasmania in July 2012.
