Franco L.

Franco L. is a prominent figure in the intersection of the LGBTQIA+ community and the space sector, serving as the Founder and President of Space Pride, which aims to foster diversity within this field. Franco holds multiple roles, including member of the Committee for the Cultural Utilisation of Space at the International Astronautical Federation and Standards Maker at the British Standard Institutions, where representation includes the Bristol Robotics Laboratory. As a Teaching Assistant at the University of Bristol, Franco engages with over 100 students and participates in advanced missions related to space exploration. Franco's educational background includes a PhD in Robotics for Space Exploration and Sustainability, alongside a Master’s and Bachelor's degree in Robotics and Theoretical Physics, respectively. Previous experience includes contributing to blockchain development at Decenture and participation as a scholarship recipient at the International Space University.
