Sanat K. Biswas

Member Of The Technical Committee On Space Communication And Navigation at International Astronautical Federation

Sanat K. Biswas serves as an Assistant Professor at the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi, since September 2017, leading projects on Orbit computation for space situational awareness and NavIC Reflectometry receiver development, among others. Sanat is also a member of the Technical Committee on Space Communication and Navigation for the International Astronautical Federation. Previous roles include Technical Consultant at Podways, where expertise in cooperative autonomous vehicle system modeling was demonstrated, and Lab Demonstrator at UNSW Australia, providing guidance to engineering students. Sanat’s industry experience includes a Senior Engineer position at Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions focused on emissions reduction and engine control unit testing. Academic qualifications include a PhD in GNSS and Navigation from UNSW, an M. Tech in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a B.E. in Instrumentation and Electronics from Jadavpur University.
