Kala Parasuram

Kala Parasuram is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in equity, inclusive education, and strategic leadership. Currently serving as the Senior Manager for Equity and Inclusive Education at the International Baccalaureate since March 2012, Kala is responsible for shaping the vision and strategy for inclusive educational programs. Kala also holds voluntary positions as a Board Trustee for ASDAN and a Senior Advisor for IFIP's Global Leadership team, where responsibilities include governance, strategic planning, and promoting inclusive practices globally. Additional experience spans roles as a lecturer and consultant in inclusive education, with significant contributions to curriculum development and advocacy. Kala possesses a PhD in Inclusive Education and further qualifications in Special Education and Movement Therapy, highlighting a strong academic foundation in the field.
