Rowan de Arkotxa MacKenzie

Rowan de Arkotxa Mackenzie has a diverse and extensive work experience in the beverage industry. They have held various high-level positions in different companies and regions. Rowan's most recent role is as the Vice President Bulk Business - Global at International Beverage since October 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Director General of International Beverage Vietnam, starting in October 2018. They also held the position of Supervisor of the Board at Asiaeuro International Beverage Limited from October 2018 to January 2024.

Before joining International Beverage, Rowan worked for Thai Beverage PLC / International Beverage, where they served as the Vice President of Sales in different regions. From October 2018 to October 2022, they held the position of Vice President of Sales - Asia-Pacific. From June 2016 to October 2018, they were the Vice President of Sales - Asia. And from January 2015 to June 2016, they held the role of Vice President of Sales - ASEAN.

Prior to their time at Thai Beverage PLC / International Beverage, Rowan worked for International Beverage as the Regional Director. From November 2009 to August 2015, they served as the Regional Director - Greater Europe. And from October 2008 to November 2009, they held the position of Regional Director - Eastern and Central Europe.

Before joining International Beverage, Rowan worked at Inver House Distillers. They held the role of Regional Director - Eastern and Central Europe from January 2007 to October 2008. Prior to that, they served as the Business Development Manager - Eastern and Central Europe from August 2004 to December 2006.

Rowan's earlier experience includes working as the Export Sales Manager - Latin America & Caribbean at Inver House Distillers from January 1997 to October 2001. They also held the position of Export Sales Executive - Western South America & Caribbean from January 1996 to December 1996.

Rowan de Arkotxa Mackenzie's education history begins with their BA (Hons) degree in International Business/Export Studies and Languages from Edinburgh Napier University, which they obtained from 1990 to 1995. They also attended the Ecole Supérieur de Commerce de Saint Etienne in France for a year from 1992 to 1993, where they received a degree in Business. In 1998, Rowan obtained a Diploma in ACIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing) from CIM. Later, in 2001, they pursued an MBA from The University of Edinburgh, specializing in Strategy, Finance, and Negotiations. More recently, from 2017 to 2018, they participated in the Thaibev-NUS Global Executive Leaders Program at the National University of Singapore. Alongside their education, Rowan has acquired several certifications, including being a Keeper of The Quaich and a Freeman of the City of London.
