Stephen Fisher

Stephen Fisher is a seasoned professional in the fields of government, public affairs, and financial regulation, currently serving as a Member of the Economic and Commercial Diplomatic Advisory Group at the International Business and Diplomatic Exchange since April 2024. Fisher holds the positions of Global Head of Government & Public Affairs and Global Head of Political Affairs at Deutsche Bank, roles undertaken since October 2023. Additionally, Fisher contributes as a Board Member and Co-Chair of the Regulatory Policy Committee at the International Capital Market Association. With prior experience as Co-Head of the Global Public Policy Group EMEA at BlackRock and Director of European & International Affairs at the Dutch Banking Association, Fisher’s extensive background also includes advisory roles at the European Banking Federation and the Financial Services Authority. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Social Anthropology & Spanish from the University of St Andrews and an MSc in Finance & Financial Law from the University of London.
