Lara Dbouk is a professional translator and editor with extensive experience in the field of translation. Currently serving as the Managing Owner at Word to World Communicators since June 2022, Lara has also worked as a freelance translator and editor for the International Center for Transitional Justice since November 2014, contributing to documents such as "Living with the Shadows of the Past: The Impact of Disappearance on Wives of the Missing in Lebanon." Additional freelance roles include positions at The Write Solutions and Kalimat L.L.C. since 2014 and 2013, respectively, along with ongoing freelance translation and editing work since 2012. Lara has an academic background in translation, holding a Ph.D. from Shaney Institute of Health Sciences, a Master's degree from Saint-Joseph University, and a Bachelor's degree from Shaney Institute of Health Sciences. Lara also has experience as an Arabic instructor at Université Saint-Joseph from December 2014 to December 2016.
