Arturo Rios, SPHR, has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Arturo started their career as a Training Manager/Manager of Staffing at Hyatt Regency DFW in 1996. Arturo then moved on to Saint Vincent Catholic Medical Center in 2001, where they held the role of Corporate Organization Development & Learning Specialist. In 2002, Arturo joined the ASPCA as the Vice President of Human Resources, leading a team of 13 and overseeing day-to-day HR operations across multiple locations. Arturo was later promoted to Senior Vice President of Human Resources at the ASPCA, where they played a key role in aligning human capital with the organization's strategic goals. In 2015, Arturo joined Services for the UnderServed as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Currently, Arturo serves as the Director of Human Resources at the International Center of Photography.
Arturo Rios, SPHR, completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration at McMurry University from 1983 to 1987. Arturo then pursued post-graduate work in Training and Development at the University of North Texas from 1988 to 1989. Additionally, Arturo obtained certifications in Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) from the Human Capital Institute (HCI) in March 2015. Arturo also holds the SPHR certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI).
