Gerald Slota

Gerald Slota is an accomplished educator and fine art photographer with extensive experience in the field of photography. Currently serving as an instructor at New York Film Academy since May 2023, Slota also holds a long-standing position as an adjunct professor in Alternative Photography at the School of Visual Arts since 2006, where symposiums are taught to the freshman class and mentorship is provided for independent studies. Slota has been an adjunct instructor at the International Center of Photography since 2019 and previously taught courses at William Paterson University of New Jersey from 2011 to 2018. As a fine art photographer, Slota has developed 11 distinct series utilizing various mediums, including black and white and digital photography, and has produced significant editorial work for major publications, translating over 55 concepts into unique works showcased in more than 20 national and international platforms.
