David W. Ichel is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience as a mediator and arbitrator in complex civil litigation, commercial, and insurance matters. Currently serving as a Fellow at both the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Academy of Court-Appointed Neutrals, Ichel is also associated with the American Arbitration Association and the International Centre for Dispute Resolution as part of their arbitrator and mediator rosters. Additionally, Ichel is a member of the CPR Institute’s Panel of Distinguished Neutrals and serves as a certified arbitrator and mediator with ARIAS-U.S. A Senior Lecturing Fellow at Duke University School of Law, Ichel teaches Complex Civil Litigation while maintaining a long-standing commitment to the American Law Institute as a Life Member. Education includes a JD, cum laude, from Duke University School of Law and a BA, summa cum laude, from Duke University.
