Kathleen Cahill is an accomplished journalist and editor with extensive experience in investigative reporting and public affairs programming. Currently serving as Associate Editor and fact-checker at the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) since April 2021, Kathleen has contributed to significant investigations like The Pandora Papers. Previously, as a Producer at WYPR from May 2015 to September 2020, Kathleen expertly curated content for daily public affairs shows and received the 2020 regional Edward R. Murrow Award. Kathleen's background also includes a substantial tenure at The Washington Post from 1995 to 2011, where roles included Assistant Foreign Editor and Assistant Outlook Editor, focusing on accuracy and timely reporting. Kathleen holds a B.A. in English from Boston University, where a four-year scholarship was awarded for writing excellence, and has furthered education through the Washington Post Fellowship, the Stanford Publishing Course, and studies in Irish Studies at University College Dublin.
