Laura Murphy

Laura Murphy has a diverse work experience in the interior design industry. Laura is currently working as a Project Manager at International Decorators Inc. and holds the position since 2023. Prior to this, Laura worked as the Vice President at INSOLAR Window Treatments, Inc. from 2010 to 2023, where they managed commercial interior projects and developed client relationships. Laura also worked as a CCGT Associate at the Chicago Center for Green Technology from 2010 to 2014, where they provided tours and assisted with promoting green technology. Laura worked as a Showroom Manager and Assistant Showroom Manager at Thos. Moser from 2007 to 2010, and as a Product Developer at Freelance from 2000 to 2007, where they designed and produced textiles and furnishings. Before that, they were a Sales DC Showroom representative at Kravet from 1999 to 2000. Laura began their career as a Manager at Murphy & Company Fine Interiors from 1996 to 1999, where they managed design projects and launched an e-commerce website.

Laura Murphy received their Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Salisbury University - Perdue School of Business from 2001 to 2003. Laura also obtained a Certificate in Building Energy Technology from Wilbur Wright College from 2009 to 2011. Additionally, they have acquired additional certifications such as the WFCP Motorization Specialist from WFCP in March 2018, and the LEED Green Associate certification from the US Green Building Council in June 2010.
