Dr. Vishal Dev Shastri

Dr. Vishal Dev Shastri, PhD, currently serves as the Deputy Chief of Party for the USAID Advancing the U.S.-India Partnership Platform Activity at International Development Group LLC since May 2023. With extensive experience in monitoring, evaluation, and research within public health and international development, previous roles include Research & Evaluation Advisor at UNICEF, Senior Advisor at FHI 360, and Senior Advisor at Clinton Health Access Initiative, Inc. Dr. Shastri has contributed to significant projects such as the Mwanzo Bora Nutrition Project with BBC Media Action and has held various technical and leadership positions across organizations like USAID and the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Population Studies from the International Institute for Population Sciences and specialized training in Data Sciences and Advanced Statistics from esteemed institutions.
