Ayatullah Shaibu

Ayatullah Shaibu is an accomplished medical professional currently serving as a Medical Officer at the University of Ghana Medical Center since November 2022. In addition, Ayatullah works as a Diabetes Care Associate with the International Diabetes Federation and serves as a Volunteer Medical Officer for the K. A. Amissah Foundation. Previous experience includes roles as a Senior House Officer in both Paediatrics at Keta Municipal Hospital and a rural CHAG facility at St Francis Xavier Hospital, as well as a Medical Doctor at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. Ayatullah's early experience includes participation in the first Galien conference in Africa and an internship in the infectious disease department at Tufts University School of Medicine. Ayatullah graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Ghana in 2019, following secondary education at St. Augustine’s College.
