Mike Lydan

Mike Lydan has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Currently, they serve as the Senior Vice President of Product Engineering at SS&C Technologies since May 2020. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Vice President of Application Development at International Financial Data Services (IFDS) from May 2014.

Before joining IFDS, Mike was the President of AgileInsight Inc. from August 2013 onwards. Mike also worked at Manulife Financial, where they held various positions, including Vice President of Corporate Systems from September 2007 to December 2012, Vice President of Operations in the Reinsurance Division from May 2005 to August 2007, and Assistant Vice President from March 2003 to April 2005. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Project Manager/Project Director at Manulife Financial and a Business Analyst/Project Manager at iGate Mastech.

Mike's work experience also includes a brief stint as an Author at Sinauer Associates and an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto.

Mike Lydan completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Medical Microbiology and Bacteriology at the University of Toronto Mississauga from 1980 to 1985. Mike then pursued further studies at the University of Toronto and obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Cell and Developmental Biology from 1985 to 1988. Continuing their education at the same institution, Mike Lydan completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cell and Developmental Biology from 1988 to 1993. Later, they attended McMaster University from 1998 to 2000 and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus in Information Technology.
